Integrating theory with practice to cultivate top talents in the industry

GOODWAY has long been collaborating with major universities and vocational training systems, allowing students to not only acquire theoretical knowledge in school but also gain hands-on training in the company. This promotes the integration of theory and practice, enabling the application of learned knowledge, and thus enriching the foundation of new talent for the industry.

Capstone Competition for Precision Machine Tools and Intelligent Manufacturing Technology

Since 2012, this competition has been jointly organized annually by National Chung Hsing University and GOODWAY Group. The purpose of the competition is to promote research and innovation in the machine tool industry and smart technologies, while encouraging students to understand industry needs through technical research and pursue careers in related fields after graduation. Now in its 13th edition, the competition has attracted over 3,000 students and professors from Taiwan, Japan, and South Korea. The finals, held every September, have become a major event for engineering colleges and institutes across Asia.

Nurturing the Future of the Machine Tool Industry

The future of the industry lies in talent. While GOODWAY is dedicated to creating profits for all its shareholders, we are also continuously utilizing the company's resources to assist in the development of skilled professionals for the machine tool industry. However, our efforts go beyond just donations. What we value more is how to provide students with better learning environments, workplace experiences, and integrate the strength of various sectors of society to support research projects that urgently need resources to be realized.

Academia-Industry Consortium for Science Parks in Central

The association aims to integrate resources from industries, schools, and legal entities within the Central Taiwan Science Park to promote academic research and development as well as industrial upgrading. Founder Mr. Yang also served as the President of the 7th and 8th terms.

Physical Donation of Machine Tools

We continuously donate the most advanced machine tool products from our group to universities and colleges. The aim is to provide students with the best learning experience through top-quality equipment, while also alleviating the financial burden on the schools.

Donating to Support Education

Founder Mr. Yang has always placed great importance on education. For the past 30 years, he has continuously donated personally and through the company to schools at all levels to improve teaching quality, renovate laboratory environments, purchase teaching equipment, and establish scholarships.

Participation in Collaborative Projects

We actively participate in various collaborative projects to enhance the effectiveness of industry-academia cooperation, including the Ministry of Science and Technology's “Talent Development Subsidy Program for Science Parks,” the Ministry of Education's “Industry-Academia Partnership Program,” and the Ministry of Labor's “Industry-Academia Cooperative Training Program.”

Industry-Academia Collaboration

We collaborate with various technical and vocational schools to offer industry-academia partnership programs, allowing students to pursue both education and employment simultaneously. Upon graduation, students will possess a competitive edge in the workplace with a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience.

Workplace Experience

All of GOODWAY Group's facilities across Taiwan welcome visits and exchanges from schools at all levels. Our goal is to help students experience the workplace environment firsthand and share with them the manufacturing processes of machine tools.
